The new products from L'Oreal Professional have arrived and we at Shine, have become OBSESSED with Next Day Hair.

I always love my hair on day 2. A little bit of grit and a lot more texture. Next Day Hair gives us all of this in just a couple of sprays. Although it has a light hold, its formulated with mineral salt to give a textured look making it ideal for any hair type. You can use as little or as much as you prefer.

I've experimented with this product a bit and have come to love using it on those soft, fine hair clients that are looking for a bit more volume and some definition as well as something that they can reactivate through the day. Use it at the root or all over. You can spray Next Day Hair and use the blow dryer going up the hair strand in order to get big hair results or sleek it back into a textured pony. There really is no wrong way to use this product, the key is to just have fun with it!

We love Kevin.Muprhy's Shimmer.Shine for SO many reasons!  Not only does it revive dry, dull hair but it repairs it too! With Vitamin A, C and E,  and the ability to use it on wet or dry hair gives an instant healthy shine without and oil finish. Plus it's paraben free! This product wins all the way around.

Product Spotlight: Kevin.Murphy's Super.Goo

Men's styling for the spring/summer should be able to transition from the business week to a more relaxed weekend feel with ease. Achieve a more polished look with Kevin.Murphy's SUPER.GOO easily.

Apply SUPER.GOO to damp hair and blow dry into your desired style, you will have a pliable hold all day. Apply a finger tip of this rubberized product, comb thru hair with fingers or comb/brush into your desired style and then blow dry with vent brush. It provides tons of shine and rehydrates the hair from the inside rather than putting a coating on top.  It's lightweight so I can add it to any hair type along with any other styling product.  In the winter, it's great for taming flyaways and static electricity.

When I was first introduced to the Style Winder, I must say I thought, "...great, another gimmick." Well, I was wrong! This tool is amazing not only for us stylists, but you too! The iron heats up in seconds, which is an awesome feature for those last minute touchups. The temperature is adjustable and allows you to create curls and waves fast and more importantly, it is beyond easy. I love this iron and it has totally change my view on "curling hair"






My favorite styling product of the moment is Anti Gravity Spray from Kevin.Murphy. I love the ease of using a spray-in styler and blows my mind when it comes to volume! For those who are gel or foam challenged, this is the product for you! Just spray in wet hair, comb through with a wide comb and you are on your way to a great hair day! I'm in love with L'Oréal Smooth Essence, weightless smoother for fine and limp hair. Sometimes finding a product that smoothes the hair without weighing it down is hard to find but L'Oréal has delivered with this bottle.

Smooth Essence has a small amount of hold which allows fine, limp hair to build up body! The smoother is formulated with protein extract, UV filter and vitamins to repair and reinforce hair. While adding a beautiful shine, it can also be layered with Cashmere Gelee which provides shine and extended anti-frizz control for all day results, perfect for the windy Fall days that are coming!
